Our rotary actuator is essentially
one of our thruster motors mated to a straight or right angle harmonic drive
gearbox. It is conservatively rated to provide a continuous torque of 250
ft-lbs while traveling at a controlled variable speed from zero to 150
degrees per second (25 RPM). The command and control options, power, and
connector pinouts are flexible and can be customized for your application.
Depending on your system’s control architecture, angular position feedback
information can be supplied as an analog voltage, digital quadrature
signals, or included in the motor serial control-feedback communications.
Software-set travel limits.
Materials in contact with the water are hard-black anodized 6061-T6
aluminum, Delrin, and 316 SS.
